研究内容
私の研究領域は外国語教育学とメディア学の交差点であり、主なテーマはソーシャルプラットフォーム上の言語学習ビデオを視覚文化の一形態として分析することと、異文化学習やドイツ語教育における革新的なアプローチの可能性です。
また、ビデオジャーナリストおよび映像作家としての長年の経験を活かし、芸術的・研究的な実践も続けています。視覚的・民族誌的なアプローチを用いて、グローバルな移動やマスツーリズムの文脈における「遂行される文化、創出される伝統、観光芸術」といった現象を調査し、異文化間の認識や対話におけるそれらの重要性を明らかにしています。
My research lies at the intersection of foreign language education and media studies, focusing on language-learning videos on social media platforms as a form of visual culture and exploring their potential as innovative tools for intercultural learning and German language education.
Drawing on my extensive professional background in video journalism and film production, I also pursue artistic research. Using visual and ethnographic methods, I examine phenomena such as performed culture, invented traditions, and tourist art in the context of global mobility and mass tourism.

ゼミ紹介
私のゼミでは典型的なドイツ文化と社会について研究した後、現在流行しているコンテンツを参照して、現代のドイツと世界から見たドイツについて知識と理解を深めます。文学や音楽、映画、建築などクリエイティブなコンテンツを利用しながら、ドイツと日本の相違点と共通点を探求し、クリエイティブな作品を制作します。
In my seminar, we begin by exploring traditional aspects of German culture and society, before delving into contemporary trends to deepen our understanding of modern Germany and its global perception. Through creative content such as literature, music, film, and architecture, we examine the similarities and differences between Germany and Japan, while also producing our own creative works.

経歴・活動歴
ドイツ生まれのポリグロット。2009年、デュッセルドルフにあるロベルト・シューマン音楽大学／デュッセルドルフ応用科学大学で映像・音響工学技術士の学位を取得。卒業後は世界をまたにかけるビデオクリエイター、ジャーナリスト、メディアワークショップのインストラクターとしてフリーランス活動。立命館大学、京都外国語大学、京都産業大学で非常勤講師へ経て、2025年、大谷大学国際学部に任期制講師として着任。
Born to German-Bolivian parents and raised in Germany, in 2009, I earned a degree in Sound and Video Engineering Technologies at the Robert Schumann Music Academy and University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf. Following my graduation, I pursued a freelance career as an internationally working video creator, journalist and media workshop instructor. After working as a part-time instructor at Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto University of Foreign Studies and Kyoto Sangyo University, I joined Otani University as a fixed-term lecturer in the Faculty of International Studies in 2025.
