CONTENTS
この度、下記の通りハイデルベルク大学（ドイツ）と共同プロジェクトを実施することとなりました。
本プロジェクトは「写本研究とデジタル人文学」をテーマに 、南アジア・東南アジア貝葉写本の保存方法・
研究方法を見直し、再構築することを目指します。
2021～2025年度の取り組みに引き続き、2026年度も継続して開催をしております。

開催主旨
A cross two days, the Workshop on Manuscriptology brings together specialists from Paris, Austin and Heidelberg (namely Manasicha Akepiyapornchai, Manik Bajracharya, Jonas Buchholz, Daniele Cuneo,Rajan Khatiwoda, Nicole Merkel and Jérôme Petit - in alphabetical order), to explore South Asian manuscripts as both physical objects and living texts, spanning palaeography, calendrics, critical editing, conservation, and state of the art digital tools currently reshaping the field.
The workshop is organized in seven thematic sessions on Monday 13.07.2026(10:00 - 16:00) and on Tuesday 14.07.2026(10:00 - 16:30) and offers participants -including students of all levels - a rare chance to learn directly from leading scholars, to engage with the latest questions, and to follow the life of texts from palm leaf to critical edition and digital tools — all while joining an open conversation about the methods and challenges that animate thefield of Manuscript Studies today.

プロジェクト概要
真宗総合研究所の仏教写本研究では、
- 現在本学にて所蔵されている貴重な仏教写本を、デジタル化にて整理 ・保存し、データを研究資料として公開・提供すること
- 写本研究に基づき、南アジア・東南アジアを中心にその文字、言語、文化、信仰などの国際的・学際的な研究を行うこと
を目的として研究活動を行っています。
南アジア・東南アジア貝葉写本は、保存環境、資金的問題、保存技術などの問題に起因する破損が増えており、各国で保存が急がれています。
一方でデジタル人文学の手法と技術は急速に発展しており、様々な保存・修復方法が確立されてきていますが、それらの技術を採用する際の望ましい在り方、問題点を慎重かつ徹底的に評価することが求められています。このような写本を取り巻く状況を改善すべく、ヨーロッパで古典インド学・仏教学・写本研究に取り組む大学として名高いハイデルベルク大学古典インド学科と、この度共同研究プロジェクトを実施することとなりました。
