研究内容
英語教育の現場における効果的な学習者への動機付け方法について研究しています。特に文法指導方法の改善や、プロジェクト・ベース学習を通して学習者のモチベーションを刺激するための実践に結びつく研究を行っています。
ゼミ紹介
2年生のゼミはビートルズ音楽とアメリカのブルーズの研究を通して英国の文化とアメリカの文化を学びます。3年生では、日本のポップカルチャーや、日本のしきたり、習慣について研究します。どちらの学年においても、英語と日本語の両方を用いたディスカッションを行います。英語力を身につけ、自国の文化と同時に英米の文化について理解を深めることで、国際人として成長してもらうことを目標とし、他の国際人たちと内容のある対話ができるように成長してもらいたいと考えています。4年のゼミ生が興味を持ったテーマを選び、研究して卒業論文を英語で書きます。

経歴・活動歴
2011年オーストラリアサザン・クィーンズランド州立大学大学院修士課程（応用言語学専攻）修了、2022年京都大学大学院博士後期課程人間・環境学研究科（共生人間学専攻）修了。関西学院大学常勤講師を経て、大谷大学文学部着任。
