Major in Education and Psychology(Master's Courses)

The Education and Psychology Course at the Otani University Graduate School is designed to develop highly trained professionals who are able to deal with educational issues of contemporary society, both theoretically and practically. The course aims to train professionals who can take a leading role in the classrooms as well as scholars in the field of education. The curriculum consists of classes dealing with theoretical and practical problems of education and is divided into three fields, Pedagogy, Psychology and Curriculum Pedagogy. The curriculum is structured to allow each student to choose and attend the classes depending on their interests, concerns and individual needs.

Moreover, classes designated “Advanced Studies of Education and Psychology” provide graduate students with comprehensive and multi-faceted instruction led by leading professors in the fields of pedagogy, psychology and curriculum pedagogy.
