Otani University is located in the center of the
historical city of Kyoto. A number of historical sites, such
as Kyoto Imperial Palace and the Golden Pavilion, are
located nearby. Situated in a quiet residential section of
town, the university is surrounded by much greenery. With
its many traditional festivals, such as the Gion Festival,
Jidai Festival and Daimonji Bonfires, and its museums and
performances of traditional arts like noh and kyo-gen, Kyoto
is an ideal place to study.

From Kansai Airport to JR Kyoto Station:
Both train and bus services are available from the airport to JR Kyoto Station.
(Approx.75 minutes by JR KANKU Express train HARUKA. Approx.95 minutes by Airport Bus.
From JR Kyoto Station to Otani University:
Take the Karasuma Subway Line. Get off at Kitaoji Station.
Otani University is a 1 minute walk from the 6th exit.
