Department of Philosophy

Philosophy is not a subject studied in solitude. It is important to understand how others think about specific subjects (understanding others) during the course of interaction with others in order to find one’s own thoughts. Diverse philosophical approaches are used in the four year course of study to help students understand their own thoughts and actions (self-understanding). Students learn to express themselves through various methods and to establish communication with others.
